WHAT IS NEEDED TO BE A SUCCESSFUL LEADER?

Why do you want to be a leader?  Because you want to be in the role of directing dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of employees?  Do you want to be shown control ability / create value / focus on the future?  Be yourself?  Or a high salary?  Maybe those reasons are correct.  But in addition to the above factors, the requirement of leader’s responsibility is equally high.  
According to statistics, 60% of companies in the US are facing a shortage of leadership talent, causing reduced working performance.  Only 40% of employees understand the company's goals, vision, and strategy;  43% of loyal employees receive weekly feedback from their boss, and up to 75% of employees leave not because of the job but because of the boss.  The above statistics show that the leader’s role in a company or organization is extremely important.  The success of an company, in addition to the efforts of each employee, an important role is still the leader’s talent.

Let’s imagine about a world where people wake up every day, inspired to go to work, feel trusted and valued at work, and at the end of the day they return home feeling satisfied with their work.

Today, in many successful companies, the best leaders are creating working environments in which people naturally collaborate together to create superior products or services.

The true art of leader will protect the organization from internal conflicts that will most likely destroy the corporate culture.  When we protect ourselves from others, the organization itself suffers.  But as trust and partnership grow within the organization, we will bring people closer together and the organization will grow more sustainably.  When we struggle to find joy or a sense of belonging at work, we bring that struggle to home.  People who have the opportunity to work at companies where they treat employees like a real person to be protected and not a resource to exploit, at the end of the day they come home with a feeling of joy and gratitude. This is the rule for all of us, not the exception.  After work, we feel inspired, feel safe, grateful are natural human rights. 

There are many lessons for leaders, and as the leader of an organization, the leader has more and more roles to play in building company culture, leading employees, creating a protective working environment from above so that employees can feel secure and continue to contribute to the organization itself.

We are more willing to follow a leader because of emotional attachment, while a manager is obeyed by subordinates because of the formal authority given to them.  And as a result, people tend to be more loyal to the leader than to the manager.  That is what a successful leader is.
